About the work

Nigeria: Power Less is part of Linda Burris Webster's Cartographica series, in which maps are transformed into intricate sculptural forms before being photographed.

Through the manipulation of familiar geographical imagery, Linda explores the political and social issues affecting individual countries, encouraging us to consider the lives and stories that exist beyond their borders.
