Framed and Fermented has developed its wine programme in collaboration with Butlers Wine Cellar, bringing specialist knowledge and thoughtful pairings into exhibitions and events.
Together, we explore how wine can add another layer to the experience of art, whether through a particular producer, region, story or simply the atmosphere of the evening.

Earthy, textured and quietly wild, with freshness and grip beneath the surface. Chosen to echo the layered marks, dark organic forms and raw botanical energy within Christina Fedyk’s work.
Richard Whadcock ‘Leach’ × Domaine des Carlines
Mineral, layered and quietly oxidative, with depth unfolding slowly over time. Chosen to echo the atmosphere, abrasion and shifting surface within Richard Whadcock’s work.
Michael Rainsford × Natalha Vinho Branco
A quieter pairing built around rhythm and restraint, with the wine’s freshness reflecting the work’s meditative repetition and organic mark-making.
Paige Ripley × Salt River Sauvignon Blanc
Bright, saline and coastal in character, with citrus freshness and mineral focus. Named for the Cape Town district where Duncan Savage makes his wines, it was chosen to echo Paige Ripley’s connection to surf, sea and the graphic rhythm of the shoreline.

Delicate, bright and celebratory, with mineral precision reflecting the rhythmic movement and layered colour of Laura’s wax-crayon work.
